Greetings!

I am a dedicated and passionate educator and leader. I have over twenty years of teaching experience as an Early Childhood Educator and Educational leader. This is my 8th year as a Senior Director. I have two Master's Degrees in Education: Educational Leaderships and Literacy Studies. I also have a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English Literature with a concentration in Psychology and Early Childhood and Childhood Education. I hold New York State Professional Certifications in the following areas, Early Childhood, Childhood Education, Literacy Studies and School Building Leadership.

I have a passion for hands-on, integrated learning. I also have a talent for creating a thinking and intimate learning environment that integrates a little mystique, magic, fun and joy into schooling. Teachable moments happen throughout the day and I take advantage of them whenever they arise. I believe in building strong connections with student's families and teachers because the education of a child requires a collaborative partnership. This type of support allows a child to grow and flourish.

When I am not in the school environment you may find me spending time with my family and friends, at the gym or spa and taking walks, and my Yorkshire Terrier, Lovey. My hobbies include but are not limited to the following: frequenting museums, book stores, concerts or a baseball park; traveling both domestic and international; reflecting in my journal; shopping; listening to Music Classic and Salsa- Marc Anthony or shopping.

At Escuela Hispana Montessori Early Learn Center our student and teaching body reflects the diversity of this great city and together we will seek to learn, celebrate and embrace its richness.
